They’re two venues in one home. Alice is the Italian taverna on the main level; Monarch is the speakeasy-style cocktail and dessert lounge below. Same address, same team, same standards, deliberately different moods.
Who is behind Alice & Monarch?
Alice & Monarch comes from the Cambridge-based team behind Source, the modern gastropub on Church Street. Alice is named for the owner, Daniel’s great-grandmother, and the whole concept was built around the feeling of coming home.
