Our pastry team runs on nostalgia and mischief in equal measure: childhood favorites dressed for a night out, classics gone rogue, and every plate composed like it knows it’s being photographed. Think silky chocolate ganache meeting toasted marshmallow ice cream, a root beer float that grew up and brought caramel corn with it, tiramisu on a cinnamon-toast detour, and tropical sorbets swirled with mango, guava, and dragonfruit. The menu rotates with the seasons; the mischief is permanent.

How late is dessert served?
On Tue and Wed we go from 6-11pm. From Thu through Sat we extend from 6pm until 1am. Which makes us one of the few late-night dessert destinations in the Cambridge and Boston area.
Do I need a reservation for dessert at Monarch?
For weekend evenings, we recommend one; the lounge is intimate and fills fast. Spontaneous sweet tooth on a weeknight? Bar seats often have room for you and a parfait.
